Making a difference in the world is something I’m teaching my 7 year old about. It’s important to remind her (and those we love) that this place is “bigger” than ourselves. So, I couldn’t be prouder to team up with The J.M. Smucker Company with this sponsored post series for the Making a Natural Difference campaign.
So excited to announce our giveaway winner, Kelly Elswick, who won a $100 Shutterfly Gift Card and Various Laura Scudders Natural Peanut Butter products!
But don’t forget, there’s still another giveaway opportunity for you thanks to Smucker’s, Laura Scudder’s and Adams Natural Peanut Butters, who have once again partnered with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA).

This country has so many amazing spots to visit, some right under our noses. Whenever we travel, even for business, I try to locate someplace new and educational. Our National Parks are so beautiful and I’ve only been able to visit a handful. I want to change that.
One of the most interesting stops we’ve made at a National Park has been just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We looked at a map and discovered that the Petroglyph National Monument was on our route between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We had to stop.
Apparently, Petroglyph National Monument protects one of the largest petroglyph sites in North America and it is something to behold. You’ll want to wear good shoes (tennis shoes or hiking boots).
You’ll find designs and symbols carved onto volcanic rocks by Native Americans and Spanish settlers 400 to 700 years ago. Impressive. History.
This stop didn’t take long, but it created a lasting impression. Smucker’s, Laura Scudder’s and Adams Natural Peanut Butters understand that and want to keep conservation of parks a priority.
It all starts with one person at a time. One family at a time.
