**GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED**
I first discovered Kidorable last year when I was shopping at a local childrens shoe store. Over in the corner, I spotted THE most adorable umbrellas and rain boots for kids. So many patterns, for both boys and girls. Soooo fun!
I soon discovered that Kidorable wasn’t just umbrellas and rain boots. They have a wide selection of everything from children’s outerwear to room accessories like bookends and hangers. Of course, now that it’s winter, it’s the perfect time to think outerwear, and you’ll find the cutest selection of hats, scarves, and mittens. Thinking ahead to spring, there’s rain boots and rain coats. Then for summer, oh the most fun towels, embroidered shirts and sun hats. They’ve got it all!
What makes them so appealing to both parents and kids are the fantastic themes for the products. From the new Ballerina style for girls, to Space Hero, Dinosaur, and Fireman for boys. So many choices……and I’ll tell you up front, it’s hard to choose when shopping. I’d take one of each.
This winter might just be the coldest EVER here in the Dallas area. COLD. Let’s not forget the snow either. Um, we don’t buy snow boots in Texas. Thank goodness we had just received a package containing Kidorable Rain boots……they served as snow boots this month, and worked quite well. 🙂
Aren’t these fun? My daughter is really loving purple lately, so I knew we had to choose something from the “Butterfly” theme….all purple! Yes, they are cute, but they are so well made too. In fact, they really have turned into “everyday” shoes around here, because what 3-year old doesn’t like to wear fun shoes?
In addition to the Butterfly Rain Boots, we also received the Butterfly Backpack and Butterfly Gloves. Yes, that’s her in the rain boots and backpack, getting ready to travel around the house like Dora the Explorer! She had wanted a backpack for so long, and she puts just about everything in it, including a pretend map. Future Traveler.
It’s a perfect backpack for a preschooler….not too big. With an outside pocket and the zipper attached to a Firefly (makes it easy for her to locate the zipper), I give this a thumbs up.
The gloves are just so warm…..and these are her first gloves with individual fingers. She’s still learning how to put her fingers in each spot, so she wouldn’t sit still for a good picture. They entertain her with the little butterflies on each finger…..great idea, especially when she plays them like finger puppets in the back seat. One tip….in my opinion the gloves run a bit big, as I could actually wear the medium size for children (I do have small hands though).
