The last two days I spent enjoying the 2017 DFW Auto Show media preview thanks to my partnership with She Buys Cars. Take a look at some of the highlights and details about this years’ show.
The 2017 DFW Auto Show has returned to Dallas!
Now through March 26, 2017 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, you’ll find everything you need to see under one roof (and without the power sales pitch – my favorite part).
I had the chance to really enjoy the layout before the show was opened to the public and there were some things that caught my eye.
Kids Will Be Entertained
From racing games and plenty of food to coloring pages and crayons (at the Capital One area), the DFW Auto Show is a family event, one to bring your kids to.
Case in point, you’ll find yourself wondering how many man-hours the LEGO Batmobile took to make. Yes, a real life-size Batmobile made completely out of LEGOs. I’ve only teased you with the tire here, but let me tell you how impressed the kids will be.
Latest Gadgets and Tech
One of my favorite things about attending an auto show is learning about all the latest and greatest things the car manufacturer’s have come up with to make my life easier. Oh, and they do it so well, year after year.
I discovered just how much I love the Genesis line of cars (Hyundai’s luxury brand) and might have fallen in love with the color of this Toyota Prius above. Isn’t it gorgeous?
The one thing that is constant – my learning about cars. I learn something new each and every year and appreciate all that the car manufacturer’s go through to make that happen. The staff on site at the auto show are so incredibly helpful. Bring your questions. Test out the features. This is the time, in the comfort of an air-conditioned convention center, NOT getting in and out of your car at the dealerships.
Discover what 2018 has to offer
New cars like this 2018 Toyota Camry, American’s most popular car, are front and center ready for you to inspect.
The Camry was looking sleeker than ever!

Thanks, Debra, for the update. We couldn’t make the event this year, but we hope to next year.
It is really great to have everything under one roof! See you there next year!
I didn’t realize that Genesis was part of Hyundai! I bet that LEGO car is AWESOME!
I know…I’ll be honest, I didn’t know it was either, but it’s their luxury line. Sooooo nice!
