I married into an Italian family, so you can imagine that pizza is often on the radar. But what I’ve learned over the years, is that Italian or not, everyone has their very own way of enjoying pizza.

Am I right?

From pizza pairings to time of day it’s enjoyed, there’s no denying our love for the round (and sometimes square) delicacy. Today, thanks to this sponsored post with RaceTrac, I’m talking all things pizza – no judgment here!

At a recent RaceTrac blogger event, I had the chance to enjoy firsthand the RaceTrac custom pizza of my choosing. The highlight of the evening was the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, available for a limited time only at participating stores (approximately 250 stores).

FUN FACT: The Buffalo Chicken Pizza uses traditional Frank’s Red Hot Sauce as the base, 100 percent whole milk cheese and crispy breaded chicken all topped off with ranch dressing. Who knew?

I was so impressed with the delicious pizza, that I ordered a large pizza to go, as I knew my family hadn’t yet had dinner while I was away.

FYI: The pizza slices are HUGE –  a 16” pizza dough is cut into 6 slices!

Pizza. Perfect. Under 10 minutes. My family was thrilled when I walked in with dinner!

RaceTrac pizzas are assembled in-store using unique ingredients. RaceTrac brings in pizza dough, mozzarella cheese, sauce and toppings. Then their team members make pizzas fresh in the store!

Why? Well, RaceTrac isn’t your ordinary convenience store.

In fact, I had a chance to see one of the newly remodeled RaceTrac stores, which not only had an incredible, jaw-dropping coffee bar that will rival many local spots, but it had a unique outdoor area, with FREE wifi, and even outdoor fans for our sometimes balmy Texas weather!

Can’t you just imagine sitting outside with your laptop and the perfect iced coffee while the kiddos enjoy their Swirl World creation? Oh wait, that’s just me daydreaming! But it’s going to be a reality SOON, I can tell you that!

That iced coffee I’m dreaming about – it’ll be even better made with the new 2018 coffee machines coming to RaceTrac, where you’ll be able to watch the coffee beans grind in front of you (talk about fresh!)!

That Swirl World the kids are dreaming about – ice creams, yogurts, sorbets and Italian Ice to delight them with toppings galore (my kiddo loves gummy bears on her ice cream – crazy kiddo)!

That pizza I’ve been talking about – feel free to pair it with coffee, ice cream, or hey, any of RaceTrac’s famous offerings, like the Roller Grill items! All things pizza – no judgment, really!
