I have seen it with my own eyes.
Don’t worry. You DESERVE to see it as I have, with no secrets revealed and no spoilers in the least. I’m of course talking about Avengers Infinity War, in theaters April 27th.
These always present a problem for us writers, because in reality, I can’t exactly “review” it without talking about details.
But I can tell you what you need to do BEFORE you see Avengers Infinity War (and trust me, you’ll want to see it this opening weekend)!
And I can say this…Infinity War will go down in cinematic history as one of the best movies of all time.
You will be surprised, shocked, even stunned. You will be emotional. You will laugh. Often. You will be grateful for this epic film, 10 years in the making.
Is it worth the hype? Most assuredly, yes!
Before You See Avengers Infinity War
Know the Infinity Stones Inside and Out
If you aren’t up to speed with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now is the time to catch up. Binge-watch if necessary. It’s so worth it (we even re-watched a few before today)!
In Infinity War, Thanos will stop at nothing to collect all six Infinity Stones in his quest to wield unimaginable power and his twisted will on all of humanity. Assembling a team that includes members from every Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, the Avengers and their SuperHero allies must sacrifice like never before in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
There are 6 Infinity Stones: Power, Space, Reality, Time, Mind, and Soul.
Since the infinity stones are central to the plot, know them inside and out – what they do and where they are located, at least the ones we know leading up to this film. This will help you navigate the film.

Re-Watch Captain America: The First Avenger
While I would highly recommend watching all the movies, I realize that if you haven’t already started before now, you likely won’t get it done before this weekend.
If I were to recommend just one movie to re-watch, it would be Captain America: The First Avenger. I know I wish I had done that now.
Hold It – I Repeat, Do Not Go To The Restroom
Yes, I realize it is almost 3 hours long (2 hours and 40 minutes to be exact), but trust me on this.
There is no scene in this movie you want to miss. Not one. You will miss something critical.
Don’t Be Late
It’s absolutely not worth missing the first few minutes. The film is intense from the very beginning. This is no time to be late.
Allow yourself plenty of time to get your seats, take turns going to the restroom, and hitting the concession stands (though if you are like me, you’ll hold your breath for a while before eating the popcorn).
Brush Up On 80’s Pop Culture
Okay, in reality, you are just either going to know it or not. Just be prepared for a plethora of 80’s pop culture references. As a child of the 80’s, I loved it.
Stay Past the Credits
As with every Marvel film, you will want to stay until the very end. Yes, the VERY END.
There will be one post-credit scene you don’t want to miss. It’s crucial.
24 hours ago we made some predictions about this film –> who dies in Infinity War? While I’m dying to talk to you all about what happened, I shall remain quiet until enough time goes by.
Oh, it’s hard, but it is the right thing to do.
Maybe I’ll Add a 7th – You Will Need To See Infinity War Again
I’m sure I missed a few things. With so many action packed scenes, I am trying to recreate a few of them in my mind. My husband and I have a disagreement about one scene in particular.
Looks like we are heading back to the theater. Rats! Ha!
