The book that started it all is now full-color, with never before seen material (and a special interview)! I’ve just finished reading the book myself – my first introduction to Junie B.

Having just attended Kindergarten Orientation for my daughter, this book hit close to home.  Junie B. Jones is beginning kindergarten in the book as well.  She has me thankful my daughter won’t be riding the bus…..oh so thankful.

Junie B does not like riding the bus that very first day of school.  I totally understand, as I vividly recall my very first bus ride (in 6th grade).  She’s told a seat is saved……and she can’t sit there.  Then she’s told news that makes her never want to ride the bus again….she’s fearful.  So, when school is out, instead of riding home on the bus, she hides in the school.

I won’t spoil the fun……you’ll have to read it!  🙂

  199. My eight-year-old son STILL loves Junie B. We read it and he just laughs and laughs. We have already been to the website to play the games and we have several boxed sets, including the Stupid, Smelly Bus. He would LOVE the full color version.
