Dinosaur Train’s Big Big Dinosaur Week! (Giveaway Too) – CLOSED

Today,  August 13th,  premiered “Big Big Dinosaur Week” on PBS KIDS.  Now through Friday, the week will feature four new episodes that follow Buddy, Shiny, Tiny and Don as they discover the largest of the dinosaur species while exploring their natural surroundings. They’ll also learn about nocturnal and diurnal animals, sunrises and sunsets, natural art, and geysers. It’s no wonder my daughter knows SO MUCH about dinosaurs!

If you miss any of the episodes, don’t worry…..encore broadcasts will run from August 17 to 19th!

August is a BIG BIG travel and vacation month as families across the U.S. are getting out and about on day trips and vacations and creating summer fun memories!  While some may have already started school, here in Texas we’ve got a couple more weekends to sneak in a last minute family getaway.

The Jim Henson Company and Amtrak have joined forces for a national promotion yet again. This year it’s the Big Big Dinosaur Sweepstakes, that will award one lucky family with an Amtrak vacation.   109. Carter is our big dinosaur fan! Early this summer he was so afraid of dinosaurs. Something changed and now he is just fascinated by them. Whenever he sees a dinosaur he raises his hand and says roar! So cute! He has been loving Dinosaur train on TV and has a few characters! Just loves playing with them!
