I’ve got my basket out…..the one I put out during the holidays, filled with seasonal books. It’s been fun to watch my 3-year old pick up that huge basket and sit on the couch and just read and read. There’s something about fall that makes me want to curl up and read a bit more…maybe kids too. Here are some of our favorites:
Duck & Goose Find a Pumpkin – $6.99
If you’ve never read any of the Mouse Series of Books by Lauren Thompson, you are in for a real treat! Love them and they were some of my daughters first books……Mouse’s First Snow, Mouse’s First Christmas, Mouse’s First Day of School….you get the picture. We still bring these out every season!
Mouse’s First Fall – $7.99 (also available in hardcover)
Mouse’s First Halloween – $7.99
This is a favorite in our house and quite educational, learning about all the different kinds of leaves and trees, with activities in the back.
Count Down to Fall – $8.95
This one might just be my all time favorite fall book…..goes through all our American traditions (like parades, football, and pumpkin pie), but ends with the real meaning of Thanksgiving!
What Is Thanksgiving? – $6.96
What Is Halloween? – $6.29
The Bumpy Little Pumpkin – $6.99
What fall favorites are in your house?
