We’ve had a fascination with Big Hero 6 here in my family lately. Having Mommy interview Big Hero 6 Directors and Producer a couple months ago while in L.A. sparked the interest in my daughter. And because Mommy has seen extended scenes from the movie, she can’t wait for November 7th to roll around.
So, I thought we’d have a little food fun with a Big Hero 6 Themed Lunch.
How about this idea for lunch? Big Hero 6 Lunch Baymax Sandwiches to take to school? I think the kids will be envious!
Follow these simple instructions:
Step 1 – Prepare the bread. Create into oval slices using cookie cutter.
TIP: I didn’t have an oval cookie cutter, so I slightly bent my circle one into an oval shape. Super easy.
Step 2 – Create your sandwich filling. PB&J, Ham & Cheese, anything. Place the top slice of bread over the filling.
Step 3 – Create the eyes of Baymax. I used Chocolate Covered Raisins, attaching them to the bread with a tiny bit of peanut butter. Regular raisins would work too. Get creative.
Step 4 – Cut length-wise a tootsie roll very thin using a sharp non-serrated knife. Place the tootsie roll slice in between the eyes, touching. The tootsie roll is sticky, so no need to use peanut butter to attach.
VOILA – Meet Baymax! Super easy and fun!
Be sure to check out my post from my visit to Disney Animation Studios with Big Hero 6. This post for lunchtime fun was all on my own and certainly not required by Disney.
