Gifts for Kids
Jooki
The Jooki speaker is a wireless screen-free music and audiobook player with Spotify connection.
Featuring Jooki’s patented ToyTouch® Technology, Jooki lets kids operate the speaker independently: kids use figurines or tokens as a remote control to trigger playlists parents have pre-selected with a few clicks on the Jooki app.
Guided by Montessori education principles, the award-winning Jooki player connects through Wi-Fi for music and audiobook streaming, helping parents empower their children to develop creativity, imagination, and emotional awareness. With Jooki, children can independently access a wide range of pre-selected songs, music, and stories.
It’s magic at a kid’s fingertips!

Bears for Cares Books
At $9.95 each, Bears for Cares paperback books are great gifts for kids this holiday season. Each book is told in rhyme and educates young readers about wildlife, treating animals kindly and creating a more compassionate world.
The books in the Bears for Cares series include:
- More Beautiful than Heaven
- Billie the Octopus
- A Thanksgiving for the Turkeys
- Jenny the Chimpanzee
The book series was founded by Lotus Kay on Endangered Species Day as a project of Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots & Shoots youth service program. The campaign’s goal is to “educate children about the state of wildlife and our earth, and what they can do to make a difference to create a more compassionate world.”
While paperback copies are available at $9.95 each, you can also purchase hardbound copies for $14.95 each. Gift sets for $49.95 include not only the book, but a companion stuffed animal – so cute!
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of all books and toys will be donated to the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots program.
Be on the lookout for more Bears for Cares books later this year.

Little Lion Picture Books
Little Lion Books is a collection of children’s picture books from new author and illustrator Natasha Brown, who happens to have an obsession with all things Disney (just like me.)
Just released in August 2021, these colorful picture books will engage children ages 3-8 with their bright illustrations, easy-to-read rhyme, and inspirational messages to encourage well-being in children.
The five new books include:
Little Lion: This uplifting and inspirational story encourages children to believe in themselves, ignore negativity, and pursue their goals — one small step at a time.
Should I be a Princess?: Dressing up and fairy tales — it’s a lot of fun! But should Mira really be a princess? This book teaches children to enjoy the magic of make-believe while cherishing the true value of their real life, family, and friends.
One day I’ll have Superpowers: Children have BIG dreams! And with the right mindset — anything can happen! This exciting night-time adventure is a fun story about how POWERFUL our MINDS can be.
I’m going on a Treasure Hunt: Join the hunt for hidden treasure! This picture book is loads of fun for kids with full-page treasure maps and a LOOK and FIND feature: try to spot Swift — a missing pirate parrot!

Trapezium Activities
Picture find
Our picture finds are our most requested activity from our Math Club Families! Our 20 unique scenes with over 600 hundred hidden objects provide hours of fun, while reinforcing number & letter recognition, building concentration and attention to detail. This activity book is great for rainy days and car rides and can double as a coloring book!
Brain Teasers
Brain Teasers are the perfect gift for children in grades K-5 who love to be challenged in math! Brain teasers are modeled on the types of questions asked on national and international math contests for elementary school children and are sure to get your children’s gears turning. Brain teasers are a perfect supplement for your gifted child or as a challenge for children who find traditional math instruction boring. Each deck comes with 20 question cards and detailed explanations for their solutions. These cards are great for around the dinner table, on car rides or on a rainy day.
Train Your Brain
Our Train Your Brain cards prove that hard math can be fun. Train Your Brain develops your child’s ability to think quickly on their feet and helps alleviate the fear of being called on in math class. The cards encourage mental fluency and reasoning in four areas: Counting, Money, Time, and a mix of concepts including geometry and measurement that we call “Grab Bag.”
Each card has six questions which are read aloud. Your child then solves the question aloud without the use of pencil and paper. Answers are provided on the card. Each card increases with difficulty from the first to the last. Parents/caregivers can repeat cards to reinforce mental fluency. For more challenging fun, parents/caregivers can decrease the length of time given to answer each question. Our novice level cards (blue cards) include a number grid to help children answer questions. Our novice level cards also give pointers on how to introduce the concept of money. With Train Your Brain, your child will develop the ability to perform math calculations without a calculator or pencil and paper.

Elegear Tie-dye Rainbow Flannel Blanket
Girls of any age will love to snuggle with this blanket from Elegear on Christmas morning and all year-round. The blanket is available in 3 different sizes and two different tie-dye color palettes – Rainbow Pink and Rainbow Purple.
Each blanket is handmade, so you can be sure the color and pattern of each blanket are unique. The blanket will not fade, will not shed hair, and is anti-static which lets you avoid that static electricity we so often encounter during the winter months. Best of all, these blankets are machine washable, making them a perfect and practical gift for daughters, nieces, best friends, etc.
These tie dye blankets are OEKO-TEX Certified using environmentally friendly dyes, and are absolutely skin-friendly. That’s important to me since we sometimes struggle with eczema in our family.

The House That She Built – children’s book
In this unique children’s book children will learn all about the building of a new home and 18 different careers in construction and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). While all children will enjoy and be exposed to possible careers they’ve never thought about, author Mollie Elkman has her eyes set on elevating women in the industry in particular.
Mollie Elkman spent her childhood surrounded by home builders, but it was only when she joined the industry herself that she realized how often she was the only woman in the room. I recall being in that exact predicament in my first career, something that has become more real to me as I have my own daughter now. Currently less than 3% of the housing onsite workforce is made up of women – Mollie is determined to make a difference and change that. This book, “The House That She Built,” is a creative start.
Written by Mollie Elkman. Illustrated by Georgia Castellano. Published by Patricia Potts. All women.
The House That She Built Coloring and Activity Book is a great supplement to The House That She Built book and on the website there is even a free page you can download.
**Proceeds from the book will support skilled workforce development and diversity and inclusion in the construction industry.
