Giuliana Rancic has shared so much of her private life these past few years, including dealing with infertility and IVF treatments.

This morning, she has shared even more.

She has Breast Cancer.

She’s 36 years old.

She doesn’t carry the gene, like most women.

In fact, she didn’t even want a mammogram.

She was waiting until she was 40.

BUT, a Dr. thankfully told her to get a mammogram before he would try IVF again……because as many of us know, hormones can mess with breast cancer.

No symptoms.

She didn’t think it was necessary.

But, she went.

Had a Mammogram.

Now, she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Early!

Thank Goodness.

And, while I know all too well that there are risks even with an early diagnosis……

I’m grateful to Giuliana for sharing her story with the world.  I can only imagine how hard it is for her to do.

She has a voice……and she’s using it for good.  Hugs and prayers to Giuliana, Bill, and their entire family!

While mammograms don’t prevent breast cancer…….they can save lives!

  • If you are over-due, please schedule today!
  • If you are under 40, consider getting a baseline mammogram (to compare to in the future)!
  • If you are Scared or Nervous…it’s okay, I was too, I lost my mom……

(Please join me this month, in memory of my mom, as I host the 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Event – more info on my navigation bar)!
