It’s that time of year. With a chill in the air, decorations are slowly being put around the house, and everyone is smiling. The holidays are extra special in my house, traditions my mom once started years ago are carried on in her honor – from seven layer cookies and nutcracker ornaments to opening advent calendars.

This year, holidays are extra fun for my daughter and I now that she’s joining me on the couch for some serious mother/daughter time watching Hallmark Movies & Mysteries #MiraclesofChristmas programming. Who can resist the fun? They are family friendly so I never have to worry, and they really get us in the holiday spirit (and wishing it snowed more in Texas)!

Sunday’s Movie: Marrying Father Christmas

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Marrying Father Christmas” premieres this Sunday, Nov 4th at 9pm/8c!

Starring Erin Krakow, Niall Matter and Wendie Malick (and I have to say I love this cast as I’ve always been a fan of Wendie’s and Niall Matter just happened to be the lead in a favorite summer movie.

Story: When Miranda Chester (Erin Krakow) set off to find information on her biological father two Christmases ago, she never imagined that her investigation would lead her to both the family she had always longed for and Ian McAndrick (Niall Matter), the love of her life. After her romantic engagement last Christmas, Miranda prepares to marry Ian this Christmas surrounded by his family and her new family, the Whitcombs.
