It’s summertime at Joe’s Crab Shack and the summer menu looks (and tastes) amazing!
You’ll find two new entrees served “Shack Style”:
- Corona Beach Bake: Lobster, clams, sausage, shrimp, fresh corn and potatoes steamed with a Corona chile-lime bath
- Costal Wave Steampot: Dungeness crab, snow crab, sausage and shrimp with corn and potatoes, finished with a Corona chile-lime bath
Recently, a group of friends (and bloggers) were able to gather at our local Joe’s Crab Shack to test out a variety of their new items. Oh, we had such fun.
First up was the Southern Citrus Campechana, Joe’s version of the classic Mexican seafood cocktail with shrimp and crabmeat. It was wonderful, with just a little kick to it.
Then there was my absolute favorite………..the Fried Clams. #NOM #ThatisAll
Guests can also enjoy new Tiki Cocktails like the Sailor’s Mai Tai, the Hawaiian Margarita and the Run Barrel Long Island Tea……such a great presentation, as you can see above. Next time, I’m wondering if they would put a non-alcoholic drink in one of those festive glasses for my daughter. So fun! She’d love it.
Can we just mention the summer desserts? 🙂 From the most southern Peach Pie/Cobbler (which doesn’t even appear on their website) to my personal favorite summer item….Campfire S’Mores!
Yes…….the manager thought the Campfire S’Mores would be a huge hit with kids, but it seems the adults are ordering it just as much. 🙂 Trust me when I say, I know why! Delicious!
But it’s this next item that spawned a bit of creativity for an upcoming birthday party (I’ll be posting soon)!
Yes, kids actually paint a crab – made from cereal treats!
Traveling this summer? Did you know Joe’s Crab Shack is in nearly every family tourist destination across the country — in some tourist spots, they are right on the beach.
