Menopause the Musical

Get ready Dallas/Fort Worth!

Menopause the Musical, now in its 18th year (IMPRESSIVE!), is here and making waves. I’ve even got a FLASH GIVEAWAY for tickets below!

The longest running scripted musical in Las Vegas history (still going I might add), has arrived in Texas, and if you are one of the 70 Million women experiencing menopause in the United States (or countless others rapidly approaching it and starting to understand this aging thing is real), you might want to grab a friend and have a few laughs. Laughter is the best medicine (and knowing we aren’t alone in this).

Thanks to partnering with Menopause the Musical, I’ve got all the scoop.

Menopause the Musical

Menopause the Musical cast

Premise:

Set in a department store, four women meet while shopping for a black lace bra at a lingerie sale. After noticing similarities among one another, the cast jokes about their woeful hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain and much more. These women form a sisterhood and unique bond with the entire audience as they rejoice in celebrating that menopause is no longer “The Silent Passage.”

I can just imagine the laughs and that’s why nearly 15 million people in 16 countries have attended one of the many performances over the years. They’ve performed in over 500 cities worldwide! Why? Well, menopause is inevitable and universal. Might as well laugh and commiserate about it.

Menopause laughs

The 90 minute production is a musical parody set to classic tunes from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. Just for the music alone, this show stands out and I hope I can squeeze a performance into my schedule this coming week!

They are currently traveling the country and you’ll find performance dates here in Dallas/Fort Worth now through November 16th.

Location:

Fort Worth Community Arts Center – W.E. Scott Theatre
1300 Gendy Street
Fort Worth, TX 76107

Best of all, I’ve learned that they have donated more than $1 million to charities supporting women. In Fort Worth specifically, they are supporting Safe Haven of Tarrant County, whose mission is to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention and social change. 100% of funds raised during sales of the Hot Flash Fans will support SafeHaven.

You can visit their website for more information. Grab tickets, grab your mom or best friend, and head on over to Fort Worth!

**FLASH GIVEAWAY**

I’ve generously been allowed two tickets to give away to one lucky winner! Winner will receive two tickets to Fort Worth, TX show of their choosing through November 16th, 2019 based on availability. Travel not provided. Good Luck!

I saw it here in Denver many years ago. It is well worth going to see.
