Do you know what to do in case your child or loved one goes into cardiac arrest?
Many of us have taken CPR classes, but refreshers and updates are so necessary.
In fact, since CPR was performed on my mom by paramedics, there have been 2 changes to the guidelines that I’m aware of.
The latest: Start chest compressions immediately — 30 chest presses, then two breaths. The change applies to adults and children, but not newborns.
If you’ve never taken a class, please consider doing so….you never know when you might need to save a life.
Had it been just a couple of hours later, I would have been the one with my mom…….
