Read on, as this post covers my favorite rest area, the Tangled restrooms – Disney World and place to find outlets to charge your phones at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom:

  • Best Outlets to Charge Phone at Magic Kingdom for FREE
  • Rest Area with Seating at Magic Kingdom
  • Disney Tangled Bathrooms at Magic Kingdom
  • Free Disney Scavenger Hunt in the Rapunzel Town Rest Area (Disney is so smart)

While you are at Disney World, don’t forget that there is a character breakfast which features Rapunzel AND Flynn Rider. I’ve got all the scoop on our visit here –> Bon Voyage Adventure Character Breakfast.

Tangled Restrooms – Disney World

Rapunzel's Rest Area Walt Disney World

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that there are few things I love more than spending time in Disney Parks.

Whether I’m walking the paths where Walt himself once trodded at Disneyland or hopping between countries at Disney World’s Epcot, I’m in my happy place.

Even in the restrooms.

Tangled Themed Restroom Disney World

WHAT???

Disney takes their theme-ing seriously, and that includes restrooms. While not all of them are themed, some are downright impressive.

Which leads me to this post.

I’ve shared with you previously about my favorite Disneyland restroom in California, but now it’s time to head to Florida and share with you my favorite restroom at Disney World.

This one can be found in the Magic Kingdom theme park on the pathway between Fantasyland and Liberty Square, just steps away from the It’s a Small World attraction.

A Tangled themed restroom at Disney World for our favorite lost princess. It does not disappoint, and neither does the area around it as it’s entirely based on the much-loved tale.

Tangled Town Area – Rapunzel Town

Tangled Themed Rest Area Disney World

From the first moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve landed in a storybook setting.

With Rapunzel’s tower nearby and music playing in the background, this could easily end up being your favorite resting spot in all of the Magic Kingdom. The flags and lanterns strung high above quickly remind you of Rapunzel, the lost princess. We tend to visit often. It’s our go-to restroom for so many reasons.

But don’t let this quaint little area fool you. It’s full of resources every parent will adore.

Magic Kingdom Outlets

OUTLETS for charging phones (FREE)

With plenty of seating, the courtyard is not only a great meeting place, but a practical stop with restrooms and even plenty of outlets for recharging your phones in a nearby sitting area.

They’ve created plenty of seating just steps away from the restroom and we were so focused on how cute the Tangled restrooms were that we completely missed the outlets the first few times we visited this area! Best of all, they are available at no charge.

Hidden Pascals – Free Activity for Kids

Disney thinks of everything! While everyone takes turns using the restroom, parents and older kids can charge their phones in the outlets, but there’s something to entertain the little kids too.

Tangled Hidden Pascals Magic Kingdom

Hidden among the seating area where the outlets are (and not out of the Tangled area for safety reasons I’m sure), are little Pascal statues for kids to find. You remember Rapunzel’s friendly sidekick chameleon, right?

I say kids, but really, my husband and I joined in the fun too.

Keep them busy while your phone is charging!

The Tangled Town Area Details

Tangled Restroom Magic Kingdom

The Tangled rest area is just beautiful. And though you cannot climb the tower (you cannot even get close to it), it looms above the area.

If you look at the photo above, to the right, where you see the archway opening, that is the women’s restroom. Straight ahead is the men’s restroom. And to the left, is the seating with outlets.

Tangled Lanters at Magic Kingdom

The lanterns were the perfect touch! They sparkle with light after dark and you can often find a Disney PhotoPass Photographer offering a special photo opp.

Tangled Rest Area Magic Kingdom

You feel completely transported to another time and place with the architecture.

Tangled Rest Area Frying Pan

I even spied the epic frying pan from Tangled near the men’s restroom.

Tangled Rest Area Signs

Everything is themed, even the cast member entrances.

But if you think the theme-ing stops in the outdoor courtyard, you would be mistaken.

Inside the Tangled Bathroom – Disney Tangled Disney Restroom Entrance

Let’s step inside the Tangled themed restroom…

Tangled Restroom Entrance

I won’t pretend that I know what the men’s restroom looks like. My husband didn’t seem to pay much attention and of course a camera in there was out of the question.

But the women’s restroom I can talk about. You enter through the arched entryway and are greeted with vibrant yellow and purple colors on the wall, painting similar to what you’d expect Rapunzel to have done while in seclusion within the tower.

Tangled Themed Restroom Stall Doors

The bathroom stalls are a beautiful shade of green and fitting for the theme. I can almost see these as the horse stalls for the likes of Maximus!

Tangled Restroom Disney World Details

What I didn’t expect…the details.

From paintbrushes and paints to an artist’s palette, items were carefully placed upon shelves above the sink areas. As you can see, the murals continued on the ceiling.

Tangled Restroom Ceiling

And speaking of ceilings………..a delightful night sky!

Tangled Restroom Disney World Details 2

Another shelf within the restroom. The purple and yellow colors once again used throughout.

A favorite detail of ours – the doll with golden hair.

Tangled Restroom Sink

And the area over the sinks – perfectly themed. Don’t worry, there are mirrors elsewhere!

Tangled Lanterns at night

In the evening, I dare say the courtyard is even more beautiful.

The lanterns begin to glow and for a moment, you (or your little girl) might feel like the lost princess herself.

Disney has outdone themselves yet again……this time with something as simple as a courtyard and a restroom.

Do not miss this place – a true gem of a resting spot!

That is my favorite bathroom in all the land. My husband tells me that the men’s side side partly if man smell and the other part really bad man smell, overall like the color brown. ☺️😉

wow, we must have walked (even stopped) in that area about 20 times on our last trip and did not even realise there were restrooms there. Was too busy marveling at its beauty.

I totally get that Timothy! There is so much to look at, and depending on how crowded, it could be easy to miss the entrances to the restrooms! But next time, check them out!

SUCH a beautiful restroom! It feels so strange to say that – especially about a theme park restroom – but Disney is SO awesome about following through on every little detail.

I know – it does feel strange, doesn’t it Sara? 🙂
