In my experience, families can celebrate Christmas on multiple dates. If you have in-laws, you understand. If you have family split across many states, you understand. If you are in retail, or have family who work on Christmas, you understand. In fact, my uncle’s family is celebrating this week as it’s the only time his oldest daughter could fly home for the holidays.
And whether you share gifts on the 25th of December or January 2nd, one thing is certain……you’ll always have last minute gifts to find. We’ve got 2 more little gifts to find ourselves for some dear friends.
For me, it’s not the kids who can be difficult to shop for. Usually, my daughter and nieces and nephews gifts are all wrapped up in advance. It can be the adults who are hard to shop for. At least in my family. My mom used to be the one to help me. She would thoughtfully hint at what my dad might need or what my sister was eyeing at the store. Without my mom, I admit, I’m at a loss some years.
But at Target, my sister’s favorite store, I’m always bound to find something she’ll love for her home. She redecorates ALL the time. I even spotted this Oversized Wooden Wall Clock in Antique Blue – so beautiful!
As for my dad and stepmom, I’ll admit it can be tricky. I’m not really sure of all they’ve purchased throughout the year and if they need something, they are certain to purchase it. So, I usually find a recent release of a cookbook – this year I chose The Pioneer Woman Cooks, A Year of Holidays by a favorite blogger and now tv celebrity, Ree Drummond.
But when all else fails (and it can be tough sometimes), one can always choose Target Digital GiftCards! For any holiday or celebration or thank you or just because.
- Didn’t get your child’s teacher a gift before Christmas break (it can certainly sneak up on the best of us)? No worries – they would LOVE at Target gift card!
- Looking for a gift for the kids babysitter when she comes over New Years Eve? No worries – you can bet ANY teenager or college student would NEED a Target gift card!
