Are you heading to Walt Disney World this year? There are so many reasons to visit, including one very recent addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Land! With this year’s release of Toy Story 4 in theaters, this new land will be on every child’s bucket list. Today I’m sharing the Toy Story Land Instagram walls you don’t want to miss during a visit.
TIP: While there, don’t forget to add a stop at Woody’s Lunch Box for homemade Lunch Box Tarts!
These Toy Story Land Instagram walls weren’t made for Instagram of course. Or were they? Disney is incredibly smart when it comes to marketing and they know how much we love taking photographs for our Instagram feed. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if these walls were added with an Instagram-intended purpose in mind.
For those of you who aren’t on Instagram, no worries. You will be smitten with these walls just the same and will find yourself reaching for your phone. Your visit won’t be the same without a selfie or two (or four) at these locations and a family photo.
Toy Story Land Instagram Walls
In this post you’ll discover:
- Names of the walls
- Locations of the walls (some not seen on the regular path through the land)
- Photos of the walls
- Hashtags for the walls on Instagram
Popsicle Stick Wall
Perhaps my favorite of all the Toy Story Land Instagram Walls, the Popsicle Stick Wall was the very first one to catch my eye with the opening of this new section of the park.
Nothing says you are a kid quite like a popsicle. To have a wall created of popsicle sticks was just genius on behalf of the Disney Imagineers. The detailing is so impressive that you can almost taste the flavors.
While inside, you are walking through Andy’s backyard. To find this gem is simply fun. The Popsicle Stick wall is so colorful and perfect for a family photo or that perfect Instagram selfie.
I want a Popsicle Stick fence at my house. Can someone break the news to my husband?
Location: On the pathway as you exit the Toy Story Mania attraction
Hashtags on Instagram: #PopsicleWall #PopsicleStickWall
TIP: You can also spy a Popsicle Stick Bench in Toy Story Land. Look to the right of the PIXAR Ball. Yes, there is a giant-sized PIXAR Ball.
Checkerboard Wall
Directly across from the Popsicle Stick Wall, you will find this colorful gem – Checkerboard Wall.
Once again, this wall is on the pathway as you exit Toy Story Mania, and not something you can see with a quick walk-through Toy Story Land.
Location: On the pathway as you exit Toy Story Mania, right across from the Popsicle Stick Wall
Hashtags on Instagram: #CheckerboardWall
TIP: There are so many adorable toys and items to spot on this long walk as you exit Toy Story Mania. Even though this is an attraction you’ve likely been on before, as it’s been in Hollywood Studios for quite a while (and might be tempted to skip – WHAT??!!), do not miss this. There are new walkway areas inside which are brilliant. You will love the leisurely walk as you exit and trust me, you will take a ton of photos.
Block Wall
We visited on one of the busiest days of the year and because of that we never caught a break when it came to taking a picture in front of the Block Wall. We kept trying and when we finally were able to take a photo, well, it was in the evening and not so great. BUT, if you stake out the restroom area you just might be able to do it.
Most people who post photos from this location, do so to the left of the water fountain (which is directly behind my daughter) and right where my white arrow is pointing in the photo above, next to the boys restroom. Truth be told I think you could also take a block wall photo to the right of the water fountain.
This area tends to have a lot of people gathering around due to the domino benches, its location right across from Alien Swirling Saucers ride, and of course the restroom and water fountain.
Good Luck!
Location: Just outside the Toy Story Land restrooms, next to the water fountain
Hashtags on Instagram: #BlockWall
TIP: There is only one restroom area in this section of Hollywood Studios and it is at the end of the land as you walk through (and on your way to the future Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge)
Andy’s Wall
Last but certainly not least of the four main walls is Andy’s Wall.
This wall, unlike all the others, appears to be temporary.
Why? Well, take a look below…
I have written before about the views of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge from Toy Story Land. On this side of Galaxy’s Edge that is connected to Toy Story Land, there is a shorter wall barrier (as opposed to the tall barrier on the side of Grand Ave (near Muppet Vision 3D). You can see over the wall quite a bit which is exciting (but make sure to read my post to find out where the best view is).
That is why I believe Andy’s Wall is temporary. It will eventually be a walkway to one of the most elaborate lands ever imagined. I’ve also seen Andy’s Wall open up to allow medical care inside for a woman who needed assistance.
All this to say – get your Andy’s Wall photos now before Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open in Fall 2019.
Location: The barrier wall that leads from Toy Story Land into the future Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. It is sandwiched in between (right next to) both the Toy Story Land restrooms and Alien Swirling Saucers ride.

TIP: If you plan on using Instagram hashtags, don’t forget this main one to use on all photos – #WallsofDisney.
So whether you want the perfect Instagram selfie or just a memorable family photo of your time in Toy Story Land, I hope this post helps. Be on the lookout for more posts soon!
