My BlogHer roommate and friend, Cathi, happened to mention a luggage scale while in New York. I remember thinking, huh? Am I the only one out there who didn’t know they made luggage scales?
I can’t count the number of times I’ve been at the airline counter and had to open up a suitcase to move just a pound or two to avoid the dreaded “over 50lbs fee”!
While many use their bathroom scales at home, that doesn’t work in a hotel room (with all those souvenirs you might bring home). I know every time I visit my Grandma, I end up leaving with more than I brought. 🙂 As a mom, I like being prepared. And that $50 fee is not in my plan.
There’s quite a variety of Luggage Scales online and the reviews are great……..I’m buying one!
