If you are like me, you tend to enjoy more family activities during the holidays. Kids have weeks off from school. Weekends are filled with special events. It’s not hard to fill up the calendar, especially if you live in or near Dallas, Texas. For those of you who will be in Dallas during this time of year, or could be if tempted, have I got a treat for you – the Ultimate Dallas Christmas Giveaway.

Ultimate Dallas Christmas Giveaway

I have partnered with many of my favorite Dallas attractions to bring you this Ultimate Dallas Christmas Giveaway – Dallas Zoo, Museum of Illusions, Trains at NorthPark;,Perot Museum, Crayola Experience Plano, SNOWDAY Dallas, Prairie Lights, and Six Flags Over Texas Holiday in the Park!

I’m talking about multiple giveaways and you can enter them all – there are Eight (8) of them below.

Learn about each Dallas attraction below and enter all the giveaways to increase your chances. There will be 18 winners!

Dallas Zoo Lights presented by Reliant

Dallas Zoo Lights

Giveaway Item: Two Family 4-Packs + Free Parking Voucher

Note: Each Family 4-pack will include 2 adult tickets, 2 youth tickets and a parking voucher and would need to be used before 12/31/19.

Dallas Zoo Lights Presented by Reliant has kicked off another season of holiday fun. I’ve shared my top 5 reasons to visit the Dallas Zoo in years past, but during this season you can enjoy regular admission at the zoo and then enjoy the extra nighttime festivities.

Why? Dallas Zoo Lights tickets also include general admission for the Zoo that day. So plan a day of it! Show up before 4 p.m. and enjoy the animals, then stay for holiday activities at night. The animals will head in for the day at 4 p.m., but you can stay in the park until the lights come on at 5 p.m.! You can take that hour break to enjoy dinner or leave and come back later that evening (don’t forget to get your hand stamped).

During these 36 select nights from Nov. 15 through Jan. 5, you’ll enjoy realistic silk-covered lanterns in the shape of favorite animals, a holiday light show, nature ornament-making, photo ops, and so much more. There are animal encounters at the children’s zoo, meet and greets with Santa himself, and let’s not forget the food – from specialty donuts to hot chocolate! Every year they have a sensory friendly night too. You can get more details here.

Museum of Illusions Dallas

Museum of Illusions

Giveaway Item: Four (4) Tickets (expire January 2, 2020)

Note: Children under 5 are free and don’t need a ticket.

Officially opening Saturday, December 7th, Museum of Illusions is surely to be an instant hit in the downtown Dallas area.

The Museum of Illusions will house over 50 exhibits, including optical illusions, holograms, installations and interactive illusion rooms. I cannot wait to experience this firsthand as they are touting this as the pioneer of the “edutainment concept” fusing fun and entertainment with education and learning.

Located at 701 Ross Ave Dallas, TX 75202. You can learn more here.

The Trains at NorthPark

The Trains at NorthPark

Giveaway Item:  2 Admission Passes

This annual tradition runs through Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020 and as always benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, which cares for children being treated for critical illnesses in the Dallas area. In just 2018, RMHD hosted over 1,400 families, and The Trains at NorthPark has helped raise more than $13 million for RMHD since its launch. The goal is to raise even more money this year to serve an additional 50 percent more families.

So know that when you visit, you are doing good in our community. You can learn more here about this exhibit.

The Trains at NorthPark is the largest miniature train exhibit in Texas and it is quite impressive. With 1,600-foot of tracks, it features incredible cityscapes like Dallas, New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco set among other highlights like New England’s fall foliage, the Grand Canyon, and Route 66. Be on the lookout for hidden characters and scenes too!

Perot Museum

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Giveaway Item: Family 4-Pack, which includes general admission as well as admission to the world-exclusive Origins: Fossils from the Cradle of Humankind exhibition. include the Origins exhibition. Tickets good through March 22, 2020.

“Tech the halls!” The Perot Museum of Nature and Science celebrates the holiday season with fa-la-la-la-la fun for the whole family. Don’t miss the completely updated Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall, technology-themed activities, archaeology and robot camps, career exploration and a world-exclusive exhibition featuring REAL fossils from two ancient human relative species.

Tinker to your heart’s desire at the reimagined Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall, which now boasts a 4,500-square-foot play space. Newly unveiled exhibits (presented in English and Spanish) include a 1,400-square-foot ChallENGe Lab (where visitors can engage in 20-minute themed engineering challenges involving lunar craft “egg drop” moon landings and more); 23-foot “Amazing Airways” wind-tunnels that will wow children (and the young at heart); hands-on robot and circuit stations; and a massive music coding sequencer that activates a melodic LED display as guests create songs.

From Dec. 21-Jan. 6, 2020 (at select times), channel your inner-engineer with augmented reality (AR) robot hockey, polar pulleys, coat designing, snowflake races and chats with paleontologists as they unearth Arctic dinosaur fossils.

Plus experience the world-exclusive Origins: Fossils from the Cradle of Humankind exhibition showcasing the authentic fossils of two ancient human relatives – Australopithecus sediba and Homo naledi – marking the first time that human relative fossils of two different species have ever been displayed together outside of Africa.

Crayola Experience Plano Handmade Holidays

Crayola Experience at Plano

Giveaway Item: 10 Winners (each winner will receive 2 admission tickets) – 20 Tickets we are giving away!

Note: These tickets can be used during either the Handmade Holidays or New Year’s Eve events this month.

Crayola Experience is a must anytime of year, but the holidays are extra special. My love for Crayola Experience all started with a little trip to the original Crayola Factory when my daughter was younger. Thank goodness we don’t have to go far at all to experience all the fun now that there’s one right here in the Dallas area. Yes, you can find this family fun spot right in Plano at Willow Bend Mall.

Crayola Experience’s Handmade Holidays have begun this season and families can enjoy making holiday crafts in addition to all the usual hands-on activities (one regular favorite of mine is making your own crayon with personalized name). Kids and adults will enjoy creating an ornament and crafting a handmade gift box just this holiday season.

You can learn more here and a heads up that now through December 6th, you can find discounted admission tickets 50% off!

SNOWDAY Dallas

Now through January 4th, you can head to SNOWDAY Dallas, located at The Plaza at Preston Center at the SE corner of Preston Road and NW Hwy. 8314 Preston Center Plaza Drive, Dallas, Texas 75225.

SNOWDAY Dallas is a popup event that the whole family will love, especially those of us who adore Instagram fun. You’ll be happy to know that every $1 per ticket will go to the Children’s Medical Center.

Guests will wander through an imaginative wonderland of holiday  photo ops, enchanted rooms, interactive spaces, and nostalgic moments. Doesn’t that sound like fun? Photo booths will be dispersed throughout the popup and it’s very possible you can run into Santa or an elf.

What I love is that guests like you and I can view the photos from kiosks, share the photos, and even print them at the end of the exhibit.

General Admission tickets are $30 but children under the age of 3 are admitted free. Check-ins are every 10 minutes. Learn more here.

Note: This admission pass is good for one general admission through 12/31/19. That equals one carload of up to 8 people, a $45 value per carload. This includes everything at the Holiday Village except for a photo with Santa.

In its 14th year, Prairie Lights is a unique two-mile, drive-through holiday park experience situated along the shores of Joe Pool Lake. You will admire a stunning display of more than four million lights!

Two of the park’s most famous attractions include a lighted holiday forest (depicting Christmas traditions around the world) as well as an animated tunnel that guests drive through upon exit.

You will also enjoy the Holiday Village which requires you to get out of the car and enjoy rides, shopping, and treats like funnel cakes and hot cocoa – included in the cost of admission! A surprising laser show completes your experience.

Six Flags Over Texas Holiday in the Park

Giveaway Item: 2 Admission Tickets

A favorite destination during the holiday season (or any season) is Six Flags Over Texas, which transformed itself overnight into a winter wonderland, complete with snow! Yes, that’s me above at an event where I conquered Frosty Snowhill. Oh, it was fun!

Now through January 5th, head to the park for some holiday fun from live shows (I have it on good authority that local students perform), to holiday treats like their Christmas inspired funnel cakes. Don’t worry if you want even more excitement, as their classic rides and roller coasters are up and running! Head on over to learn more and see the schedule here.

Such a fun holiday! We love seeing the Trains at Northpark and Siz Flags. I live seeing Christmas lights with the family. We enjoy trips to Interlochen, Deerfield, and everywhere we appt them!
